SELECTED ARTISTIC COMMISSIONS
National Center for Traditional Arts: Responsible for the organization and operation of the 2008-2009 National Folk Festival Family Area. I designed the thematic art projects for the three day that provided hands on experiential learning with a variety of art forms for over 10,000 participants.
Public Murals: Two commissioned mosaic tile murals for the Atlantic Richfield Company. Installed at the Copper Mountain Sports and Recreation Complex in Butte, Montana 4’x5’ 2001
Research Project: I have completed a research project titled: Form and Function of Murals in our Contemporary Society. This project includes a slide presentation lecture and a data bank of over one hundred fifty mural images from throughout the Northwestern United States.
Public Mural: Eureka, Montana "Seasons of the Imagination" is a painting that depicts the flavor of the local people interacting in their environment during the four seasons. Acrylic, 8'x20' 1995-6
Commissioned Work: Between 1992 and 1997 I worked on a series of 17 wildlife paintings for the Endangered Species Chocolate Company. This work includes a painting of David Greybeard used to promote chimpanzee research for Jane Goodall.

Research Project & Presentation: International Relations Seminar
Topic: Atrocities, Protests and Affirmations: Iconic Images from the Age of Global Conflict
This project included two components to the research. The first part was a private presentation to Professor Lawson’s International Relations Seminar which I presented my research power point lecture on the history of Images of Conflict, War, Propaganda and Protest in Art. The second part of the research was conducted collaboratively with Professor Lawson. The result was a 200 slide power point lecture documenting the iconic photographic evidence from World War I & II, Korean and Cold Wars, Vietnam, Iraqi Wars and the Israeli/Palestinian Conflict. The lecture was presented by both of us in a classroom environment as well as a public lecture on campus. March 2016

I was responsible for the development and implementation of the annual travelling event held at the University of Montana Western in 2015 Over 250 Montana High School art students and 30 art teachers from around the state attended the weekend event. My responsibilities included promoting and marketing the event, securing accommodations and meals, training student volunteers, plan activities and entertainment for the Friday night art party, hired 30 art instructor’s and managed 52 different workshop sessions. I also taught workshops on green screen photography and stop motion video production. April 17-18, 2015.
